Brake Plug - Master Cylinder to Reservoir - Early Cars 2002 E9/E12/E23/E24 thru 1978

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 34311121911 and is described as “Brake Plug”, which is the grommet that goes between the master cylinder and brake fluid reservoir on many Early/Classic BMWs through the 1978 model year. This includes the 1967-1976 “02” models, such as 1600/1602/2002/2002tii, 2800cs, 3.0cs, 3.0s, 1977-1978 5/6/7 series (528i, 530i, 630Csi, 733i). 

Not for cars after the 1978 model year. This grommet was for the early design master cylinder / reservoir. As cars of this vintage often have parts swapped from other models, be sure to check your grommet size. This one measures 22mm x 7.3mm (a little over 7/8" in diameter, and just over a 1/4 inch in thickness.
