About 1-Piece Rotors: These zinc-coated rotors are a single-piece cast iron design, which is a great way to reduce your brake rotor replacement cost. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but these will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design.
