Rear M Sport Dimpled & Slotted Brake Rotor, Zimmermann Coated - F22 M235i/M240i

This Zimmermann Coated BMW slotted & dimpled rotor fits the rear of the F22 M235i/M240i.

Zimmermann Z-Coat rotors are the same size as stock BMW rotors but include an anti-corrosion phosphate coating that resists rust. Uncoated aftermarket or OEM rotors will quickly rust on the middle hat and inner vanes. Zimmermann Coated rotors are made in Germany and can be found as original equipment on some Mercedes, Porsche, and Volkswagen models.

1-piece rotor. This Zimmermann rotor is a single-piece cast iron rotor. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but the Zimmermann will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design.
