Rear M Sport Brake Rotor, Zimmermann Coated - F22 228i/230i, F22 M235i/M240i, F30 320i/328i F32 428i (M Sport S2NHA)

This Zimmermann rotor fits the rear of certain F22 228i/230i, 2012-7/2014 F30 328i, and 2014-7/2015 428i models with the optional blue M Sport brakes package (option S2NHA).

Zimmermann Z-Coat rotors are the same size as stock BMW rotors but include an anti-corrosion phosphate coating that resists rust. Uncoated aftermarket or OEM rotors will quickly rust on the middle hat and inner vanes. Zimmermann Coated rotors are made in Germany and can be found as original equipment on some Mercedes, Porsche, and Volkswagen models.

1-piece rotor. This Zimmermann rotor is a single-piece cast iron rotor. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but the Zimmermann will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design.

228i/328i/428i Rotor Confusion: BMW had multiple rotor options with similar names. This 345mm disc fits the blue M Sport brake option (option code S2NHA). It is larger than the standard 300mm discs used on other trim levels.
